It is with sincere gratitude that I write this letter of recommendation for Team EEI. In 2011, 2-1-1 was approached with an opportunity to engage visually impaired individuals in our 2-1-1 Call Center. Working closely with Mr. Bill Estrada, we developed a training site that enabled their clients (Interns) to acquire on the job skills and become ready for employment. At the same time that the Interns were acquiring employment skills, we received extra support to help those within our community dialing into the 2-1-1 service.

Mr. Estrada’s staff have been an absolute pleasure to work with and have become a part of our working family. Their professionalism, dedication, and commitment to continuously improve the experience for both the Intern and our service has been outstanding. Through this internship/employment training, we have also had the opportunity to hire three outstanding individuals who completed the internship.

It is with the highest regard that I recommend Team EEI. Their passion to create opportunities for both visually impaired and non-visually impaired individuals and groups is an amazing contribution to our community.
