Not all that long ago, the classic admonishment to all parents late at night was "Do you know where your children are?" The primary concern for all parents if their children were not at home was, "were they safe or were they someplace they weren't supposed to be?" Of course, the ultimate parental control was to tell their child something was "off limits".....where could your child go (or not go) and when did you have to be home?
